Equalizing Volume Levels

Anyone have any tips on how to better equalize the volume levels between the i-Pod Nano that I keep in the car (center console) and the regular Radio and Sirius Channels? When switching from the Regular radio to the i-Pod, I have to raise the volume level to get it to the same level of sound. So far, I have adjusted the volume up on the i-Pod itself, but cannot seem to figure out any other solutions on the car. The AUX channel volume is set to maximum, but doubt this has any affect on the i-Pod.

Thanks

I have had the same issue on all my vehicles when I use the AUX input. Use the USB port instead. Better sound and you can scroll through the songs on your dash.

I am using the USB port in the center console, using the i-Pod cable directly to the port. (Sorry, I should have clarrified that.....I have the combox) All songs, albums and such show on my screen, so no problem with that aspect.

Which audio system do you have? Mine has been perfectly even since day one.

Have you tried any other iDevices to compare it against? Sometimes you can play with the sound settings (internal eq's, sound normalization, etc...) to rectify the problem.

I have the Premium System. What I suspect is that I will have to play with the settings on i-tunes or the Nano itself to bring the volume up. It is pretty close for my albums, but when listening to Podcast's, I do have to turn up the volume up quite a bit.

Ok, I have the same system but I don't listen to podcasts so maybe it has something to do with that. But both my iPhone and Nano seem to sound fantastic. Light years better than they did in my Lexus IS. There was a huge gain difference on the input in that car.

I notice a big difference between the DVD I keep in the dash vs. either the internal drive, my iPod, or satellite radio. The DVD is much softer.
