Smile Upgrade my 520i stock brake to 535i or even 750i setup, possible?

Hello guys,

I want to have my F10 520i front kit upgraded to F10 535i calipers with 348x36mm rotors OR F01 750i calipers with 374x36mm rotors. I found that the 535i setup is compatible, direct bolt-on. Pls advise if the F01 750i front brake kit is interchangeable with our F10 too?

Thanks & Cheers!

As a budget upgrade, direct bolt-on, with bigger calipers and rotors, looks better, more beefy.
Gentleman, any ideas? F01 750i brake calipers are compatible with F10?

Im guessing the 750i and 550i should be the same, I dont see why not, because to install M5 calipers in any other F10, they all require the same bracket. So im guessing it should bolt right on, dont quote me on that tho lol

I understand what your saying, however do you have a tune on the car requiring greater stopping power? If not why not just get them painted?

you might start looking into an aftermarket big brake upgrade kit like Brembo or Stop Tech.

Personally, I think that is a huge waste of money that could be spent much better elsewhere and provide a lot more bang for the buck.

I'm thinking about upgrading my to M5 or stoptech big brake kit. During my 10 hour trip from Calgary to Vancouver the brake would fade half way through, which is pretty dangerous (My C63 had two piece brake and will never fade). Also my car is tuned with stage 2.5.

I've read some pretty good reviews from guys who upgraded to the R1 concept setups
