F11 520D cargo cover
Hey guys, one of the little plastic things (not sure how to call them) which pulls up and down the cargo cover in the boot is gone. See attached photos, where you can see the right side which is fine and left where it's broken - gone. I can't find it so I can't glue it back. Any suggestions?
Or will I just bring it to the service? Thanks for any advise. |

I feel your pain, i myself have been waiting for one of the said tabs to break, but touch wood im not in that boat yet.
Ive managed to find the mechanism layout and the part in question is called a d pillar lift, part number 51437232773 number 15 on diagram... Im guessing its going to have to be a bodge job, im more than certain you will need to take main cover off and try and fabricate something onto the slider pin. Other than that its a brand new one. Pretty confident its do-able though, let us know how you get on
