Any issues with BMS intake?
I was looking to purchase the BMS intake for my F10 535i. What improvements did you guys see? Any sound improvement?
I heard that removing it and going back to stock later is hard because the plastic shroud shrinks and the OEM will not fit anymore.

What do you mean? The intake is under the hood on the top of the engine. How would it be exposed to rain?

All I see is some thing that allows more hot air to get pulled in,,,,
I understand the reason for induction kits but only if there is a direct cold air feed from outside, hence the old e46 had a shield around the filter cone to keep the engine heat at bay. Although this would create a "Better Sound" but not doing much for performance. I would consider a performance air filter to replace the standard filter keeping the OEM air box as this is a Forced air induction feeding cold air as standard.... That's my opinion, I will shut up now http://www.mstyle.co.uk/bmw-5-series...ment-535i.html Last edited by BMW Steve; 05-10-2016 at 04:24 AM.. |
