245/40/20 F and 275/35/20 R - comments and thoughts?

hey guys,

anyone here running the tire sizes above? I realize it's an inch larger than stock but for those of us not planning on lowering the car yet, it may fill up the wheel gap a little bit more, plus give us a more cushioned ride (plus bridgestone is basically giving away these tires sizes for free )

But more importantly, I wanted to see if there will be clearance issues with the sizes above?

Rim size will be 20 x 9 and 20 x 10.5

This is going on 2012 550i m-sport

No issues

I have 245 35 20 on the front with an 8" rim on front and 275 30 20 on the back with a 10.5 rim. They fit great with no clearance issues. However, my next set of tires I will go wider and a 35 series side wall to protect the rim. Im new on the forum, but hope this helps.

You're good to go. Clearance issues will, obviously, be dependent on the offset of your wheels. Your speedo will be off (lower) by 3mph.
