I just upgraded my LCI which has an NBT based iDrive. I went thru the process of downloading the torrent, rar, usb, etc. My car detected the USB flashdrive and began updating so everything was working fine. I was waiting for it to prompt me for the FSC code but it never did. It completed successfully and now shows 2014-2. My 550 was manufactured on November 2013 and previously showed 2013x. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, the same thing happened to me when I updated my nav. It asked for the FSC code one or two days after the upgrade.

It's been 5 days since the update and it still hasn't prompted me for the FSC code. Interestingly enough, I also performed the update on the X6's CIC based Nav which uses a different map and it didn't ask for the FSC code either.

35-40 minutes.

Yeah that's how long it took for me too, give or take a couple of minutes. Incidentally, I've rebooted my system and it still hasn't prompted me for the FSC. Hmmm.
