I do have a sound clip for reference. I also have a muffler delete clip on my channel as well.

Yours sounds better. Mine has the engine gurgle, more turbo noises, but with the addition of a "metal-sounding" air leak. I should of went with ER for a little more : /

I don't even think a CATTED downpipe is worth it for me, as most of those are $900-$1000...especially if it's minimal gains and barely any extra noise. And I can only assume catted would only baffle the exhaust even MORE than the minimal noise of a catless one.

Thats very strange, I would probably take it to a muffler shop and have them weld the DP to the exhaust to fix air leak. Did you get a chance for your tunning shop to retune your car after DP install yet? (possible gurgle and turbo noise fix?) I'm getting my car tunned tomorrow!

Even with all the info posted here doing a DP is at the bottom of my to-do list. Wish we were hearing some better results! I will say it's nice to hear the turbos spool!

Went to GSR and had them reflash my stage 1 due to a misfire. Didn't do the stage 2 which would accommodate for the DP because the DP has to come out. The techs at GSR said stainless steel is not a mailable element in other words don't try to expand the outlet. The said it's too brittle and I would loose my return option with VRSF. So it's coming out and now my labor cost will be doubled.

Even though this post is kinda of a bummer I am by no means saying it doesn't help with power. It's just not as exciting as I have read in other forums.

POSITIVES:
- It did reduce turbo lag by 20%ish
- More power on the top end without tuning for the DP.

NEGS:
- Fitment was not exact
- Fitment caused leak
- doubled labor cost and time

HOPES FOR THE FUTURE:
- VRSF will replace with exact size on second try
- Tuning for DP will be a noticeable bump in power

AWARENESS:
Something to keep in mind when purchasing modified parts for your car. Auto manufactures can change a diameter on a part size with out notifying or sending a press release out. This causes all the aftermarket companies scrambling to adjust. If they don't you get my situation. The best thing you can hope for in these cases is that their customer service is top notch. We're all Guinea pigs in this modification game. The key is patience. I do believe now that the OEM DP can handle stage 1 and 2 tuning that doesn't factor in the DP.

problem with that is it would be a nightmare if it ever needed to be removed, and would either have to be cut, or come out as one piece. Ideally if slip fits suck (which most do, its not easy to make a one size fits all), you can weld a ball/socket flange on or a 3 bolt flange in place. I prefer ball/socket style as they dont require a gasket and are super easy to install/remove plus dont have to be perfectly straight and allow for movement where as the 3 bolt style require a gasket, take up more space and often leak or blow the gaskets out due to poor installation and flex.

They are incorrect, with a huth or similar style expander, its very easy to expand stainless, the key is using heat if it starts to stress. The downside to stainless is it is just difficult to stretch without the use of a hydraulic expander. Any exhaust or fab shop could have this issue solved in 20 minutes, but most places arent equipped for custom fab or anything beyond installation of other company's products.

Congrats !!
Loss in power is not major. Only downside with catted is the price + the risk of cats failing.
