Hey fellas
F30 owner here. Going to be picking up an F10 this week, taking advantage of these new february programs. Getting a 528i with just a premium.
Anything i should be looking for closely with the F10? Any known problems or issues i should be on the look out for? Anything i should know good or bad about the car? Thanks guys and looking forward to contributing here in the future.

I picked mine up 3 weeks ago (November build) and so far no evidence of any of the problems that affected some of the early production, and the same seems to apply to others who have taken delivery recently. Hopefully BMW have ironed out most of these issues now. Fingers crossed anyway

Congrats. If you want that traditional BMW handling feel i would highly suggest you adding some of the suspension packages or you will end up with a car that rides more like a Lincoln town car than a BMW. This is the number #1 complaint about the F10 is how it rides too soft and this is compounded when owners don't get the proper options in the car.

hi!
congratulation!! I also picked up my car just little over 3 weeks, with november build date. The only gripe i have is the front pessanger seat rattles whenever i go over bumps. it is annoying, so next time i visit my delar, i'll let them know. Also i am irritated by the wiper baldes not retrackting in the frame when not in use. Recently we had a snow storm in NJ, and in between i swipe the windshield. snow would get build up on the wiperblade and strike the window leaving a blur. I hate that so much, it is the most annoying thing. you have to swipe it fast for few times, to get that off. Otherwise the car is awesome. Thanx! |

Got this feature on mine & initially found it really hard to activate (like you're indicating). The trick I think seems to be to not shove your foot under the back or wave it around but just move the front of your foot straight in under the back (round the middle) & straight back out (no rush) & it now works consistently for me.
