Snow + xDrive = awesome

These were from a few weeks back when we had some significant snow... Love going out for a drive when it snows to take advantage of xDrive and my winter tires.

I have a square set up of Pirelli Sottozero's 245/45/18 on Rial Salernon 18x8 from Tirerack.com

Click on the first one... its a vid. No traction issues

After a late night drive...

do you turn of DSC or traction control in the snow? which mode, sport comfort, etc do you leave the car in while in the snow.

I know my x5 seems to do way better when I turn traction control off in the snow.

I leave the default enabled unless it snows very deep. I would disable it in my RWD 335i to get more traction, but in the 535 I haven't had the opportunity to drive in deep snow.

I would imagine that it would be better to if in that situation. I'm sure ill have the chance at some point this winter.

Don't you guys mean switch on the DTC (quick press of the button) to get Dynamic Traction Control helping you, as it gives a bit more slip, to allow easier movement.

DTC is off by default.
