Park Assis

Hi,

I've just received the VIN for my new 520D - I've specced Park Assist as I had on my 430D (company cars - just changed jobs) so I downloaded the owners manual on my iPad.

Looks like the PA on the F10 only does parallel parking, not reverse in to a space as the F32 PA does? Can anyone confirm?

You can not get the system to reverse park, it only can parallel park. But with all the cameras around the car (even without them) it shouldn't be hard to park in reverse. The only thing I would need it the sensors because the car is way too long.

How do I know if I have park assist? Does the 2016 535i come with it?

It's an option - 5DP

Put your VIN in at http://www.bimmer.work and this should tell you definitively if you have it or not.

I find the car a great size. The only thing I wish it had the PMA module so I could have Auto-PDC.

I do not see it on mine. Which option on BMW website should you select to get Park assist for the 535i?

I wonder if this feature is still offered. I am on Build Your Own for the 535i xDrive and all I see is

It looks like on all the xDrive models you can't do Park Assistant, interesting..
