Wheel and tire fitment question for '15 535I

Hello,

I am looking at the following wheels and tires for my 2015 535i RWD. Will these fit and not cause rubbing issues?

Wheel Size:
BBS CI-R
Front: 20x9 ET+25 5x120
Rear: 20x10.5 ET+35 5x120

Tire Size:
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (PS4S)
Front: 265/35/20
Rear: 295/30/20

Thanks!

Those are some wide tires. I wouldn’t go bigger than 255/35/20 in the front and 285/30/20 in the rear.

I was hoping you would chime in, you are the wheel fitment guru!

You think that the 295 with that offset would rub? Basically I have my eyes on very lightly used set of BBS CI-R with tires. The only way I could justify it is if I don't need to purchase new tires (tires only have like 3k miles on them currently)

I’ve got 295/30/20 PS4S on 20x11 et46 without rubbing, but not much clearance, so I’d expect those tires on et35 to rub at some point under suspension compression

My front wheels are 20mm offset with a 245mm wide tyre and they fit quite aggressively in the arch, so I think a 275mm wide tyre will be too wide with a 25mm offset. I'd say 255mm at the front would be better.

For the rear, I've seen reports of 295mm tyres on 34mm offset wheels rubbing so I'd expect your 35mm offset wheels would also create rubbing as Remmib said. So again drop down to a 285mm and you'll be fine.

20x9 +32 with 255/35/20 up front and 20x10.5 +42 with 295/30/20. Fit great, no rubbing ever.

Your front tires will be rubbing on the front wheel carriers. Will not fit.

My 255's on my 9" wide are perfectly square to the rim. 275 would bulge out a bit I would think. I really wish i would have gone a bit narrower in the front but trying to maintain the same tire height was more important for my setup. I do love the 295's in the rear!!

Yeah that is my concern. Do you think I could just put some 255's on those front 9" wheels and that would work?

ooooo that looks amazing. Love the 295's on the rear! What wheels are you running?

I think my main concern now is the front wheel/tire setup

Duck70….. did you put your BBS 295mm ET35 10.5” wheels on the rear yet, would be curious about your experience.

I have just bought a set of Vorsteiner 102s that are 10.5” ET34 in the rear but have not yet fitted them. I’d like to go 295mm if possible. Anyone know if 285s would look stretch on these rims? Or whether the 295s will fit ok?

295 is a perfect fit 285 is just slightly smaller so yes it will be a tad more of a stretch but nothing major.

Do you have any more pictures of your fitment? I'm looking at pulling the trigger and getting these BBS but would like to see how the rears look on your 295s
