520d ASD install
Hey guys, newbie here. Have had the car for a while though, done around 20k kms (over 12k miles). I am happy with the car, but like everyone here i would like to improve certain things about it and make it more to my liking.
What i am trying to understand is if anyone here has any experience of fitting an ASD module to a "base" speaker setup car before? I understand most threads are all about removing it or disabling it, but i drive a tiny 2.0l diesel and i would want a sporty sound to match the sporty dynamics of the car. I understand how to code it in the car. I've already done some coding successfully after studying about it on the forums and trying my luck. I want to know if anyone would be kind enough to help me physically install it in my car. I do not have an amplifier like on a Standard HiFi or Top HiFi system, neither is it the fancy Harman Kardon; i have the most basic one with a speaker in the middle of the dash, one each on the front doors and 2 near the rear passenger headrests. I read somewhere that i can install it directly into the head unit, but i cannot take such a risk basically going in blind. Please can anyone guide me? |
