Sunroof issue

Hoping someone can help me out here. About a week ago I noticed my sunroof began acting weird. It no longer opens the sunshade with one touch. I need to actually hold the button to fully open the sunshade. When tilting the sunroof to vent, the sunshade does not partially open automatically, so now my sunroof can be titled, but my shade fully closed which totally defeats the purpose. Has this happened to anyone else? Trying to figure out if this is an expensive fix and whether it would be covered under my CPO warranty.

I had a similar problem. Try the reset procedure: Start the car, push up and hold the sunroof button. After many seconds, while still holding the button, the sunroof will go through a complete open and close sequence. Keep holding the button until that sequence is finished. After that, my sunroof worked perfectly.

Worked like a charm. Thanks!
