Changing M-Sport front bumper to LCI SE?
I know i'll get heat from this question
But can someone tell me if it's within reason to change an LCI M-Sport car (only the front bumper) to the LCI SE bumper? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...03&hg=51&fg=15 I have looked at the parts and it seems doable but would it even be possible to get the right paint for the SE bumper (carbon black) - I have never undertaken any similar 'modding' and just recently started to get interested in this. The reason for this opposite direction is that the car I want is exactly like the M-Sport with anthracite interior and shadow-line and so on. But the front bumper is too aggressive looking for my taste. I's hard to find a used SE model with shadow line for example, but there are plenty M-Sport available. Let me know |

Thank you for all the inputs!
I have tried to find a DIY for the front bumper exchange but haven't been able to find any, does anyone have a link to a guide? Is it safe to assume that a SE bumper can be fitted on a MSport edition chassis without problems? The more an more i read here at the BMW community the more i like this brand, there's such a great modding community! |

On my previous car it cost me $500 to have the bumper cover removed, painted, and reinstalled. Any good shop can do this and match the paint so you wouldn't even know work was done. Since someone will be painting it you should have them install it.
