Quad exhaust

Maybe this thread exist so forgive me in advance.with that said moving on to the question..
I have a 2012 535xi non Msport-Im looking to do a quad exhaust.
I know I would need a diffuser that the quad system will fit in but do I also need to change the bumper since the diffuser might not fit (without any mods to the original bumper) or will it fit on the 535 non M bumper?

Thanks in advance

No need to change the bumper, but all aftermarket diffusers are different and might not fit perfectly. To get the best answer, I recommend you mention exact diffuser that you want to install.

If you have a Non-M car, then you either need to change the bumper or just cut out the opening on the right hand side.

My Remus quad came with a template for the part that needed cutting on a non-m car. The non-m cars doesn't have a detachable/changeable diffuser.

The m-cars all have the same rear bumper and have a changeable diffuser (all the way from 528i to M5 diffuser).

Hmm didn't know Remus made a Quad exhaust for the F10 yet. Would like to see pics of that one...

But yes that is correct you will need to either have your current bumper cut for the quad setup OR purchase a new bumper for the M Sport version on an aftermarket alternative. The F10 M5 and F10 535i and 550i cars with the M sport package DO use the same rear bumper albeit with a different rear diffuser however the M5 diffuser IS interchangeable with the M Sport diffuser so swapping out the two is pretty easy. Also note that the M5 Quad exhausts are aligned a little differently than those on the 550i so folks that have made the swap have noted that their exhaust outlets needed to be aligned with the new cutouts in the OEM diffuser. But ANY good exhaust shop should be able to do that when they install your new Quad exhaust.

Very doable, but you will need the muffler shop to cut a wider opening for the pipes. Many of us have bought them from Cyba; http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=281932.

For the M-Sport cars all you have to do is install a 550 diffuser.

Because your car is on a lease I am not sure this would work well for you at the end of your lease.
