Combox retrofit

How do I retrofit my Combox Media PnP.... I looked into it last year and was told to get the "current car integration level". I cannot find this and my dealership will not help me. How do I get the software integration level and what combox do I need to get the album artwork, bluetooth radio, etc.

You need to get one of the options: 6NH or 6NS to be retrofitted with a necessary hardware (according to VIN) connected with a specific harness and properly coded into your car's head unit (I believe it is CIC due to the pre-LCI year).

Nice specs on that 535i.

You need followings;
1- Combox
2- Combox socket
3- Schematic of wiring from TCU / MULF2 to combox

You car has TCU (for telematics) and MULF2 high (for 6FL / USB in the arm rest).
Once you get the schematic, you will have to shift the wiring from TCU / MULF2 to combox socket.

Change the VO of the car and code the car. You do not need to update the i-level.

Hey, guys!

Before starting my own thread I wanted to try my luck here, because I also want to retrofit a Combox into my 2010 January 535i, VIN C262409

My main goal is to be able to stream audio via bluetooth(at the moment I have only phone call possibility). I have a USB port and aux port in the middle console. An added bonus would be the possibility to have the car recognize Spotify as that is all I use. https://support.spotify.com/us/liste...mw-integration

Now what I don't understand is which exact Combox model should I be looking for, as there are a lot of choices available (The car is from Germany) and if possible, more detailed necessary coding instructions.
