Option for Quad Tips on your 535

I wanted to share this find with the rest of the F10 community. I received my set last week and the quality appears to be very good. I sourced a 550 diffuser that is currently getting a custom finish. Once complete I will install and share pictures.

I got mine for $215. While I agree with you, these can easily be DIY installed and you can bypass a muffler shop altogether. When I considered my total price if I bought something cheaper that would require custom work by a muffler shop, these didn't seem like such a bad deal. I haven't installed yet, but this should only require me to hack off a few inches from my stock muffler outlet, then clamp these down. Should I choose to return to stock one day down the road, it should be a relatively inexpensive job as the exhaust system was barely altered. Just me $0.02.

Agree, you will have to cut your stock tips for you to install the new tips. When going back to stock you have to weld them back or use clamps.

Exactly. A quick weld job, then I can slip the stock tips back on.

Can't believe they want $600 for these now. When I bought mine about a month ago, the asking price was $240 and you were able to submit your best offer. This seller has lost their mind!

Finally got these tips installed about a week ago. Turns out it wasn't as easy as just cutting off a few inches from the muffler outlet and slipping these on. The inlet on the tips has the same diameter as the muffler outlet, so the shop had to cut the muffler outlet, tack weld on a short reducer, and then they were able to slip the tips on and tighten them. I am going to have them tack welded when I get time just to make sure they stay in place long term. Overall I am happy with how they turned out. The seller is definitely asking too much for these now, but if you can get them cheaper, I think these are a good option.

Sharp look! I wish I had the M sport bumper, too much work cutting the bumper to fit quad tips. Should the inlet diameter be 2.25inch (57mm) instead of 59mm , would the job be easier?

New Info!!

For those of you interested in these tips, they are back down to $256! You can also submit your best offer. Just for reference, I had an offer of $215 accepted after having a few lower offers rejected. This setup is one of the easiest ways to achieve quad tips on your 535. Minimal hacking of your stock system required to get this to work.
