2013 BMW 550i X-Drive
Hi guys, Sad to say, we are upgrading to a new X5 M50i due to needing additional space and I'm listing the 550i for sale. The car is in a FANTASTIC condition. I've only had the car for 12 months and have spent close to $19,000 in upgrades & maintenance during the time! Also, I've only driven about 6K miles since purchase and feel stupid just writing how much money I've spent on this car in such a small period of time! I purchased the car with 79k miles, and now it has about 86k miles. I have receipts most of of these items. Needles to say, the next owner will not have to worry about any big ticket items for years to come. A few important notes! -In June of this year the engine was replaced by BMW. The engine has about 20 months of warranty left, and does not have milage limitations. Total out of pocket cost here was close to $6,000. -After the engine was replaced, I also had to replace the second big ticket item, which is the High Pressure Fuel Pump. -Mechanically the car is immaculate. When the engine was replaced I asked BMW to look over everything and let me know if there's anything else that needs to be done or any issues they see (this can be seen on the Carfax excerpt below) They confirmed that everything else on the car is perfect. -The car has a rebuilt title. The cosmeitic damage was on the door, sideskirt and fender. There was no mechanical damage and after you see the pictures, you'll wonder why it was rebuil.t Feel free to reach out for pictures of damage. Here are all the things done to the car since I purchased it last November to ensure that EVERYTHING is in an excellent working order. I get annoyed when any sort of issue or warning light comes up and always ensure that things are fixed right away. Maintenance/Mechanical -Engine Replacement by BMW (June 2020) -High Pressure Fuel Pump (June 2020) -Dinan Springs (December 2019) -Spark Plugs & Ignition Coils (December 2019) -Transmission Fluid & Pan Change (December 2019) -Leaking Axle Change (December 2019_ -Serpentine Belt, Idler Pulley & Coolant Hose (January 2020) -Cabin & Engine Air Filters (February 2020) -M5 Front Sway Bar (not installed but will include) -All tires replaced by previous owner at 80k miles -All brake pads and rotors replaced at 79k miles -3 Oil Changes in 6k miles since I've owned the car Cosmetics & Other -NBT Evo ID 6 with Ceramic Controller & Coding (January 2020) -Custom headlights - stock headlights modified with newest angel eyes and switchback blinkers. During the process the headlight housing is painted as well for a modern look (June 2020) -Replaced Xenon headlights with Philips 6000k to match the new angel eyes (June 2020) -650i M-Sport Exhaust (December 2019) -Muffler Tips (December 2019) Custom steering wheel shipped from Europe (added paddle shifters) (December 2019) -Rear 3D Diffuser (July 2020) -Front lip, mirror caps and bumper painting (May 2020) -Wheels and Brake Calipers paint (May 2020) -Trunk Spoiler (August 2020) -35% Tint Last edited by AmooManiak; 01-28-2021 at 11:54 AM.. |

Damn, really clean car. If I didn't have my 550 already, I'd be very interested. Hell of a car, for the price.
Out of curiosity, why did you put the 650 exhaust on it? I've never even heard of anyone doing that, but it sounds great. Is it that big of a difference in person? GLWS! |

A few years ago I went from a 550i to a 650i M-Sport and the exhaust was THE biggest improvement. It was a perfect mix of quiet when the mood strikes and deep V8 sound when you step on it. Below is an example. AFAIK, this option was not available on any 550i, and the 650 Msport mufflers were easier to install and had better fitment than M5 mufflers that I had on the 550i. With added downpipes, it sounds like an airplane taking off and yet no drone. |

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!
This would be amazingly well paired with my Vorsteiners. Nice car, Good luck with the sale! Its especially nice to buy from someone who took good care of it as well. I lost my F10 to water damage form the glass, I would have loved to consider this...

The car no longer has any performance parts and is 100% stock. Ad updated with the new information. That means over 19 months and unlimited miles warranty remaining on the engine!

The engine was replaced by BMW with a new engine as part of the class action lawsuit. I was charged 35% (about $5,800)and BMW covered the rest. It has an unlimited mile warranty until July 2022. The only reason why I even proceded with the replacement is because I thought I would keep the car for a long time. The car did not really NEED a new engine, but for $5,800, who wouldn't say yes if they knew that they are keeping the car for a long time. Retrospectively, it would have made more sense to sell a good running car for $14k instead of $20k with a new engine. Last edited by AmooManiak; 12-30-2020 at 10:23 AM.. |

Sold! Nice gentleman from Maryland flew in this morning and picked her up. Sad to see her go after investing so much, but good luck to the next guy!
