Grey Interior with Anthracite
I'm ordering my 2011 535i with the Dakota Everest Grey Leather and Anthracite Wood. The dashboard and areas above the wood on the doors (directly below the windows) are black; the seats and everything below the wood is gray.
Would you guys recommend the Anthracite headliner? I haven't found pics of it on a gray interior; on a tan it looks way too heavy like a looming cloud from above. Opinions appreciated! Phil |

I am ordering oyster/black w/ anthracite wood and I personally prefer the light and bright look of the standard oyster headliner. I had a 530i E39 with the gray interior and the oyster headliner and it was perfect. My car I have now has charcoal gray leather and the oyster headliner and it looks very light and bright, It allows you to focus on the interior, wood and trim. To me it's like a ceiling at home you go for a lighter shade to keep an open feeling.
