Heated seats too hot

There's three settings right? I'm assuming the one with one LED is the lowest setting. Why the hell does it go to the point of burning my backside? I have to continuously turn it on and off so I don't burn myself. How is this normal? Does three LEDs mean its a lower heat?

My US X3 has 3 settings and the warmest setting is with 3 bars, next is 2 bars and the lowest heat setting is with 1 bar. I won't be presumptuous since you bought a Bimmer north of our border.

Unless they changed something, I believe 3 is the highest and 1 is the lowest on the E90 so I'd assume it's the same for the F10.

I always use the lowest setting (one bar) and it comes on fast which is pretty cool, but it comes on too hot. I've set the heat distribution nearly all to the back and it's still pretty hot. Does the heat tie in with the climate control?

Once you figure out the 3 bars....there are also settings in the menu to adjust heat levels, more/less back, bottom, etc....

The one bar is lowest temperature setting. The settings can be coded http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...ghlight=heated
