Man i just read the whole thread in one sitting. Its actually very gratifying (on my end) to see your progress in one fell swoop!

Great job! $21k and change for a LCI 5er with 14K miles is a freaking bargain! Yes, your time is not considered, but what would you be doing with it anyways? ; - ).

I wouldn't have any issues buying that car at market rates if you decided to unload it. You should document this as part of the packet if you decide to let her go some day.

I got the fenders hung quickly on the car, not lined up 100% just secure from falling over in the middle of the night. I did the same with the front bumper.

Great job your doing there.. Where did you buy that LCI M-Sport front bumper? Finding a aftermarket one is tough, did you buy straight from BMW themselves?

I bought it second hand as an insurance pull off. It had a scuff on the right side from clipping a bicycle. I think I gave $275 for it if memory serves. A friend of mine buys scratch and dent stuff from bodyshops and the timing just worked out great.

I saw you mentioned, this is a plug and play modification and it gives you sport + mode without the need for coding?

Plug-n-play but you need to replace (IIRC) 205 with 2TB in the VO to get sport+. Actually, you can code the sport auto and keep the old shifter; I did originally until I acquired the shifter for a price I couldn't pass-up.

If no coding is done? Will the sport Shifter still function normally, except of course without the sports+

I would imagine. I coded sport+ before I changed the shifter. As far as I know the shifters work the same, just look different.
