Third Brake Light Cover Removal?

Detailing my car and noticed some fluff on the inside of the third brake light cover. This is the black cover that goes from one end of the brake light to the other and butts up against the glass. Does anyone know how to remove this trim piece so I can clean it out?

I'm going to be taking mine off real soon, I read somewhere it just pulls off. I'll post back after I do mine.

I took mine off several weeks ago to remove the tint that came on my car. In order to get the cover off, which is attached to the brake light, you have to remove the panel that is attached to the headliner. That was by far the most difficult part. Pop out the back side (trunk side) of that panel first, then it slides forward to come off. Then there are two tabs holding the brake light and brake light cover in place, one on each side of the light. Each tab simply slides away from the center of the car and the light and light cover come lose. I know this sounds super vague, but it's hard to describe all of this without pics or a video.

See this video, and our cars are very similar, except that the panel in our car is MUCH harder to detach from the headliner.
