Brakes Pads.

Hey Guys,

I am new to BMW World, as matter of fact F10 is my first beamer. My brake light came on, and also message shown my break pads are worn to the minimum levels i have two questions.

1.How do i know its brake pads not break disc and is it the front or rare?

2.If is brake pads should i purchase new ones from bmw or should get EBC Red Stuffs?

Please Advice.

If you still have warranty on your car why don't you just take your car to bmw so they can see what is worn out . They replace brake pads for free if you still have warranty too.
