iPod Disconnect Frequently

Just picked up my 2013 528i and plugged my iPod Nano in right away. About 3 min in, the iPod would disconnect and disappear from the iDrive screen, it then reconnects moments later. It happened very frequently to a point that it's no longer usable.

I've searched on the internet across various forums for almost 6 hours and found no solution. However it does seem like there're quite a few people having the same problem.

Anyone who know any possible solutions, please help me!

P.S. The same iPod worked perfectly in my 2011 328i.

Yeah. I had this on the iPod nano. But I switched to iPod touch and it has had no problems since. Always on after engine startup and no freezing.
