For Sale Bmw 535d Tdi Tuning Box

TDI Tuning CRTD2 Twin channel tuning box.

This is for the 313bhp engine, takes 10 minutes to fit, simply plugs into the fuel sensor and boost sensor, full fitting & setup instructions supplied.

370bhp / 731Nm of torque and an extra 10 MPG.

I have run this for 2 years and it really did transform a good car into a great car, absolutely amazing performance.

Boxed and All complete, with full instructions and the extra blanking plug should you wish to remove the box quickly leaving the wiring loom in place.

Only selling as I have sold the car.

£195 and will post for free.

My only concern with this level of tune is the 731Nm of torque, I believe the gearbox is max rated to 700Nm

They really do transform the car though

Yes before I purchased the box I had a chat with Tdi tuning regarding this where they explained about the manufacturer average quoted figures and how the box is mapped for the torque etc.

Really has been a treat to have on the car

Totally agree, I have the Bluespark Pro and that's increased to 300Bhp and 650Nm on a 30D

It must be something else on a 535D

What's the next motor.....

"and an extra 10 MPG"

*scratches chin*

Don't these work by tricking the main engine ECU about the level of fuel being injected ? If so, doesn't it throw the trip computer out ? That was what was going on with the last tuning box I fitted.

I would agree to a point

I had to measure the actual fuel used tank to tank then change the correction factor in the hidden menu.

The OBD did read higher than actual used but don't have an actual OBD v manual check without the box compared to with it.
