Great thread! I've been contemplating doing this as well ever since I put my QTP cutouts in. Following to see the finished product.

How's the fitment of the diffuser?

i wonder how much it'll cost for the install for both diffuser (cuz it needs to be drilled) and to weld

Hey, that diffuser is for the MTECH bumper so that means the exhaust openings will not be inward like the M5 so you may not need the "h" tips?

That's the one I got. I'm waiting for the mufflers/ muffler tips to come in before installing it. It does require removal of the rear bumper to screw in the diffuser but doesn't look too hard to do.

they are different because you ordered the one for the M5 and the exhaust for the M5 sits more inward than the MSPORT. If you order the one that Ickdeep posted that DTM specifically states for F10 5 Series 535i 528i so the exhaust openings on that diffuser are outward/normal. i'm in the same boat as the DTM diffuser i bought is for an M5 so the exhaust openings sit more inward but that's okay because when i install my Meisterschaft's the shop will need to adjust the exaust to line up correctly. i have a picture that show the differences...i'll see if i can find it.

To complete such a project you will need to apply much more effort and take higher cost, but the result will provide your car with better performance (and sound) characteristics, a cooler look and feel and therefore you will have much more fun.

The most popular aftermarket diffuser for the 5-series is the M5-type. At the pictures below you can see a comparison of two diffusers: one is designed for the 5-series and another one is for the M5. They look and fit the quad tips the very different ways:

Attachment 1108319 Attachment 1108323

Important note: the M5 tips are located closer to the center, about one inch compared to the 5-series.
Because of much better aesthetics of the M5 diffuser and more accurate fit to the quads I decided to go with it. So here is my Vorsteiner Aero M5 set delivered by the local distributor:

update :

finally did it , thanks to a few friends to hook me up with the exhaust, diffuser, install of the diffuser and exhaust , i netted just under 700 dollars for the whole thing including installation

as for the sound i dont know how to upload a video clip lol, it does have minimal drone that doesnt bother me at all

question though is between gears when im driving with my sprint booster and sport mode on, it makes a "blurp" sound, does anyone know what that is?

I just got mine done last weekend. There is barely any drone but its sounds pretty good. Are your valves open?

As for the blurps, it caused by a ignition cut on upshifting (this is a common method of managing WOT shifting in manual/DCT transmissions). When the ignition is cut for a split second, unburnt fuel enters the exhaust and ignites there when ignition is switched on again, causing a explosion
