Remaining skeptical as usual..
I agree too, to be fair it is marketing. Waiting on the sidelines for some dyno factual results.

The one thing that I am starting to notice now that I have this tune installed for about a week is my gas mileage is way better now! my tank now lasts an average 60-80 km longer which is a plus. Mind you this is an observation over 2 fillings.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. A little skeptical on the mileage claims but thanks regardless. Essentially you are the first customer feedback for this product (for BMW). Do you think the $200+ higher cost than BMW is justified? If so why?

I honestly was not 100% satisfied with BMS stage 1 and when stage 2 came out there was a lot of disappointment amongst those who upgraded from stage 1 on the forum. I was looking for a tune for a while that would not break the bank and give better results than the burger tune I had. I was looking at PP performance and hartage tunes both are over priced in my opinion for piggy backs (>$1500) and so I was hesitant to try. When I looked at this tune it was a german made tune that promised substantial gains. I read through their return policy and the german site mentions no questions asked if returned within 15 days. I thought to myself I have nothing to lose, so I pulled the trigger on it. If you compare the price of this tune to the stage 2 the difference is only ~200 and knowing the mixed feelings about stage 2 I thought its worth the try. No regrets so far

I have the ULTIMATE (highest version) for sale. New and never installed, full warranty. I ordered two, one for me and one as a X-Mas gift for my brother. I just found out he traded in his BMW for a Porsche. My restocking fee would be 20% to send it back. So please don't send me any crazy offers. Price new is $769. I'll do $700 shipped. They will change the harness out for me. So it does not matter which one you need.

Please PM me if you are interested.

BTW, this thing works extremely well and makes monster power starting at about 2,700 RPM that just keeps going. Traction control is working overtime now. Tel support from Racechip is outstanding.

You are making this statement based on what?

Based on the fact that you have a BMS chip?

Maybe you are right the world is flat and Christopher Columbus fell off when he sailed west and never discovered America. After all if you don't have it - it must be a "big rip off". Keep up the open mind that never got America discovered.

Are there user dyno results showing reliable power gains with the BMS tune with no other mods?

If you use search function and type f10 550xi mustang dyno you will see my results from stage 1 and nothing else.... Now that we have stage 2 it's on completely different level.

I should have clarified. I was referring to the BMS tune on a n55 only. I have not seen a dyno showing clear gains yet (besides Terry's).

If you are so confident there is one, post it.

Really? Go to n55 forum. I'm sure your answer is there.

hi all iam compare now between chip race tp ultimate , and hartge
but i found with hartge more details , like for my f30 335i , its 306 hp
after hartge its 362, from 80 -200 before and after 19.5. and 14,5
but with chip race , when i asked what about it , they said its good , nice , and from inside , i wish to die before buy it , hahaahahhahaha , i am kidding ,
but really i asked my friend he installed it , he said i feel good, like when he ll go to doctor and give him some medicine ,
sorry all i want fact to decide what we want to use,
but i saw hartge is very expensive, and good company , and the control like dew for original bmw cars, i feel its good , but no try from every one here ??????
what ever i ll buy it and will tell you the facts by number ,

Hi Mr MBA
Are you still using the Racechip ?
How is it going now ? Still no issues?

I just got one for an X1 Diesel and found default settings to be disappointing.
Slightly better after tweaking, but still not what I was expecting.

Dynojet test result for your reference

Dear you all:

I am following this thread for quiet a long time due to I just purchased a Y14 F10 LCI 535i 2 weeks ago since I ordered it last Oct. Finally I got my car now. During this long waiting period, I am wondering is there any chiptuning mod will further improving my new baby's performance so I went here to find any input or not then I found this thread. Anyway, hope the picture here will help to explain a little for this discussion.

Basically testing environment is as below
1. test machine is Dynojet.
2. Car configuration a. Stock
b. BMS F10 N55 intake
c. BMS F10 N55 intake + Racechip Ultimate map E1
d. BMS F10 N55 intake + Racechip Ultimate map F1
3. Each config will test 2 runs.
4. Each config will choose 1 result to show
4. For some reason that Dynojet can't display rpm correctly so it can't show torque figure correctly but power figure should be correct.

Then the attached figure is for you to comment.

Anyway, I am not selling anything here just show the fact that I just got today.

Cheers

Yoyo
