Its why I put exhaust on it, dropped it and tuned it.

The car can definately pull beyond 155, my car is tuned so that affects its powerband. Hartge wont take the limitor off, they mentioned they have been unable to but I think its more like they dont want blown engines coming back. I have had the tach get in the red when accelerating hard but my 550i runs close to 50-125mph times of a non-tuned new m5.
scary shit! lol

Get caught going that speed in the states and you won't be driving ANYTHING for a long time, lol

Slightly off topic

Can it be reprogrammed? Can you do it yourself via coding?

I have a base model 2011 535i, so it is presumably limited to 130mph. I ran the Texas Mile in my e46 330i and made 133.7mph. I'd like to take the 535i, but there is no point in spending all that time and money to go slower. Is it possible to get the limiter changed to 155mph without doing a Dinan tune, or something?

Thanks

My 2012 550ix came with all seasons and I exceed 155 whenever possible.
