Replace Business Screen with Professional Screen (2010 520D)`

Hi

I was wondering is it possible to replace the small Business nav screen with the larger Professional screen without having to replace the Sat Nav Unit?

Also is there a OEM DAB kit available for the my car.

Sorry if these seem silly, first BMW I have owned so not too sure how they work

Hi Balster,

Thanks for that, but I have all the bits already on the business nav, except I have the smaller screen. Is it possible to just add the screen and get that to work with my Business backend hardware?

The business nav does not have the split-screen function and so you wouldn't achieve anything by doing this.

When my E60 was attempted to be stolen off my driveway last year, at the same time the police smashed a massive BMW stripping site, where all our cars were going and being stripped, run by a Lithuanian group(that particular one), and I was told then to look on Ebay, and see that all the expensive BMW trim/kits/audio was all on there, "potentially" being stripped from our cars and sold back to us from Lithuania.

Hi,

I have seen those, but very skeptical about buying from none UK supplier.

Once I have one, what do I need to do, just replace both screen and unit?

Is there anything special to be done, if so can anyone suggest who to contact and if they know of anyone who will do the fitting and make it work.

Thanks in advance.

It will need to be 'coded' once installed in the car, there's a separate thread on this in the forum where you'll be able to find some help.
