Makes sense, i mean at 40k my car/dealer was saying I needed to change my spark plugs but that could have been a scheduled thing. Honestly I'm glad I did them, they were so easy and for how cheap I got them.

I think gap is supposed to be .025
I've taken mine out and found some at .027 so Make sure to gap down if you have to and check each one. It's weird how that goes unregulated.

I did the spark plugs for the piece of mind on my f10 535i with just a little under 32k miles and out of warranty. Parts were only $55 new from ebay and labor is about $95 via yourmechanic, the tech that worked on my car has tons of certifications including "ASE" and finished swapping out the plugs in a timely manner. For those of you wondering, this company is pretty reputable across the states and they are mobile so they come to you. Auto shops were charging anywhere from $200-$300 for labor alone, the stealership being the most expensive at $400 just for labor. The job did not appear that hard on the n55 535i after removing the engine cover. I felt that the labor was cheap enough for me not to tackle the job myself.
