Questions on Shifting - and Sport Automatic Transmission
I just bought a 535i xdrive. I don't believe i have the sports automatic transmission, as i don't have wheel paddle shifters. In order to have the car shift faster/better, would having Sports Automatic Transmission make this better? I know i have the sports vs comfort vs eco mode. But i'm guessing the Sports Auto Trans option makes the car shift faster than only my "Sports" setting. What can i do to improve what i have? Does a tune improve shifting, so if i get a tune it will be like having SAT? Thanks for your advice and insights.

in addition, i've just read about xHD transmission tune, and Dahler power pedal. not sure how all these play together, and which one(s) is easiest/cheapest method to just make the shifts a little quicker/drive more responsive

xHP is the transmission tune you're looking for. It will make a "standard" option 205 transmission come alive.

I second the option about the xHP transmission tune. Really makes a difference and is customizable.
