That's not NBT. That's just an android tablet made in the shape of an iDrive screen.

It will work. It replaces the screen with an android tablet, meaning the screen itself will now have a boot time, which can be fairly annoying when you just want to leave and have to wait for you screen to boot up lol

As for what NBT means, NBT is BMW's name for the infotainment system.
