N63 Meth Injection
Figured I would make a thread like BadBlack's old one to keep track of my adventures with meth.
The BMS kit just arrived in the mail, along with a set of M5 MAP sensors for the charge system. View post on imgur.com Since I'm x-drive I'm not sure how high I want to go. I'd like to break 600awhp for a dyno pull but then probably keep it around 550awhp for daily usage so I don't destroy my transfercase in a week. I'll update this thread as I make progress this month!

Huge thank you to 747flyboy for getting me a set of intercoolers and charge hoses.
Thank to him I was able to move forward with my installation after a couple months of being away. I opted to spray the meth after the intercooler cores, or directly before the throttle body. I decided on this for two reasons, 1. If sprayed before, the cooler mist/air combination would pull heat from the intercooler core since the water temp would be warmer 2. The possibility of methanol pooling in my intercoolers View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com Also took this time to wrap my intercoolers/intake piping in heat reflective tape and install my 3.5bar TMAP sensors. My current status is the CM10 nozzles I ordered seem to be a bit too big for the N63 flow. I am currently getting spark blowout on higher boost/meth flow. I replaced all spark plugs with N20 plugs (2 steps colder) and gapped to .020" and replaced all coils with a fresh Eldor set with no help. So I think there is just too much meth being sprayed in currently.

Huge thank you again to 747flyboy for the intercoolers and Terry @ BMS. He has been helping me get the N63 JB4 firmware set up to control the BMS meth kit properly. The BMS meth kit was quick and easy to install, however I think I will need a couple extra feet of hose to get the tank in a perfect spot in the trunk. I used every foot they sent.
Hopefully Terry can help scale the meth flow a big to control my blowout. If not, I can always downsize in nozzle.

I learned that CM10's are too big for even most M5 guys; CM7's should be sufficient.
