Awesome motor, but imo does not look anywhere near as good as a modded F10...

Not hating bro just expressing my opinion, enjoy!

Congrats good luck. Everyone is entitled to there opinion but agree with the beast. I'm not feeling the exterior its not masculine enough for my taste and it has a small butt . I'm also not a fan glossy interiors. But that motor is more pure joy!

I would go with the C63 s coupe, if you can find a edition 1 then I would go with that. imo the exterior of the coupe blows the sedan out of the water... I've seen them side by side in person and the coupe is simply a much sexier car by a long stretch.

Coupe is hard to fit people over 5'8 in the back. Its very impractical for me cause I tend have about 4 people in my car on weekdays.

I think the cars are a bit different - clearly you want something smaller, more nimble, crazier to drive. The 5 is like a short wheel base 7 series, it has very different character at its core. The C is closer to 3 series all around. I dont think comparing the two even makes sense, OP just went with a totally different car. I had my Z Coupe for a while and its totally different experience to drive a crazy looking thing that goes quick versus a family car that goes quick. Enjoy the ride, I for one love the look of the C though personally would go for E63 myself for the full on "fu(k off" experience haha. But they cost crazy money. Mercedes design of late is very pleasing to me, they found their look, some may not like it and call it tailored for China more (same people want the boxy 90s stuff I guess) but I think its absolutely on the money with current design. Not really a bad looking car in the range now, and they at least can make a good looking crossover (looking at you X1 and X3).

But their headlight treatment sucks! Their DRLs look goofy!

^^^ to each their own, I do like the BMW angel eyes but the AMG is nice too.

Comparing the C and the 5 isn't too fair you're right. Compare to the 3 series even, the 3 PALES in comparison quality wise.

Was looking at picking up the new E63S but the wait time is too long and its a larger car again, lose the sporty feel.

I'm 5 11" and I still have quite a bit of headroom left when I sat in the back of the c63s coupe. Having driven both of them back to back I can confirm that the sedan is noticeably stiffer and harasher then the coupe, the coupe on the other hand is also roughly 150 lbs heavier but the wider tires it comes with makes the car feel much more planted during high speeds vs the sedan. The coupe also has a 3.05 final drive ratio vs the 2.85 on the sedan. The differences of the two is much more greater then the M3 vs M4

Yeah, unfair to compare C AMG to 3 series, but a regular dinky C220 CDI? Any day. What I noticed in showroom is sitting in base spec Mercedes versus top end is making me think these are different cars. You never get this feel in 520d vs M5. The well specced big engined ones with loaded options feel what a Mercedes should feel like. The quality of the low spec C left to be desired. I actually was shocked at how crappy it felt. I looked at VW Passat (brand new) and it is head and shoulders above base spec Mercedes just on subjective quality feel. Obviously you never ever gonna see this in an AMG which is what you get, and it really shows. I dunno if they insulate their cars better also but they just feel better made.

All in all, well done for the switch, goofy DRLs to some, to me they just look really cool and alien almost. Very nice design imho.

Well if you don't compare class to class then the Tesla P100D kills all cars listed above, even super cars

I have a 2013 C63 AMG sedan, looking to get into an F10. Two completely different cars here. Looking for a daily driver/family car in the 550i xdrive. The C63 is not a daily imo. I'm hoping the 550i won't bore me too much after having this car.

Just get a 2014 or newer with the executive package and EDC. That way you get napa leather, adjustable suspension and is tunable to 550whp on stock turbos. Its a grocery getter rocket ship

So yesterday at the gym I finally got to see this in person...all BLACK! completely stock tho. First impressions it's nice and clean looking but hmmmmm I really couldn't point my finger on it and this is just my opinion but from a pure cosmetics point of view didn't actually make me jizz in my pants kind of feel? You know when you see a car you just "Ugh" and do a double take or even break your neck looking back or when your wifey/girlfriend looks at you and thinks you're checking out some hot chick with big hooters only to realize you were checking out another car!!! bsup:Maybe I'm just not a Benz guy yet?

I dream of owning a newer C63 sedan. Absolutely beautiful cars, but they cost as much as a CPO S550/750Li and I like big luxury cars..... hmmm...

I'm not feeling it either, back it 2014 when I shopped used cars I looked at a 2013 c63 amg and didn't like the interior or how cramped it felt. The extra power and the lighter weight were the only 2 things that made it appealing but the crappy gas mileage and smaller dated interior didn't make up for it over the fully loaded f10 550 msport that I purchased. Plus I think a modded f10 looks way better, but thats my opinion.

The quality of the C class interior (I hear the E as well) is a joke for the price you pay. I had a 2013 C350 and it wasn't too bad, but then my wife decided to upgrade (or downgrade?) her ML350 for a 2017 GLC (she wanted a more compact SUV). I clean both my car and hers back-to-back every week, and it's amazing how much wear the interior plastic on her car shows compared to my 2014 550i. I've only had my 550i for a little over 2 months, but the damn thing looks new.

I test drove a C63, it was on my short list, but as beautiful as the engine is, the interior design and quality kept me away. I also contemplated an Audi S6, but again as sweet as the engine was, interior was awful. Mind you this is my first BMW (and I couldn't stand them for a while), so no bias here toward the brand.
