What is this tee'd from the charge pipe?

What is this actuator or regulator of sorts that is tee'd off the charge pipe? Is. To regulate the pressure from the valve cover?

Purge valve, vents fuel vapor in the fuel tank into the engine during decel to be burned off. There is a check valve on the valve cover side that allows some crankcase scavenging as well.
