LED lights for F10

Sup guys,

I am considering changing headlights on my 2012 F10 to 2014 LED lights.
Does anyone have any info about them? I did not do the research yet so I am looking for more details now.
What would be the price? (should I get them through the dealer or some tuning showroom) Is coding required? What are some other aspects?

Thanks in advance for your help!

iND-Distribution sells them for roughly $3,000

The light assembly are different shape, you will need to change the front bumper cover at a minimum.

Incorrect. The assembly fits fine but the swap does apparently require removal of the bumper as well as coding. IND did the upgrade on a yellow M5.

I have the LEDs on my 2014. While they're nice, I couldn't imagine paying anywhere near $3k to upgrade your Xenon lights to them. The lighting package was only $1,200, which also gave you auto highbeams. I'd bank the money and trade up later if they're anything close to what's quoted here.

This sounds interesting, I guess you wont be able to get the adaptive LED light function though?
Or maybe it would use the same camera as for speed limit ID.

they do have the same front bumper. you don't need to buy another one. just buy the headlight and ask somebody to get it installed and coded. However, the price would be very expensive to do that. somebody has done it.

If you like the way they look and can afford it (you own an M5 so I assume you can) than go for it. It will work, it's just a matter of having them installed and coded. I'm sure your dealer would be happy to do it, but no doubt they will charge an absurd amount for the labor...

I've been wanting to though this also but to my lowly 35i though. You'll need the led headlight led module and coding, the bumper doesn't need to change, not sure the part number for the led headlight is available yet though.
