How Do I Copy Music From Hardrive

I know how to put music on there..having a hard time pulling the music I saved back unto a USB. Does anyone here know how to do this?

I tried using a 16G USB Stick and system mentions not enough memory. Any ideas?

I suggest you get portable hard drive. You can get 1tb for $70. Make it is usb powered. Store music in flac or MP3 320, you will have better results.

Thank you for the suggestion...I am actually looking to get existing music from the car harddrive out. Any suggestion?

I think I did this once - years ago- but all files were encoded as .wma or other more obscure codec, instead of MP3 or other more popular types.

Which I was told was for copyright type reasons. Also found the CDs had been ripped in the car at a low res.

I now keep MP3 files on a USB stick with all meta data, cover art, etc., or connect my iPhone, and don't bother with any physical media in the car.

If you really want to, I think it one of the options on the split screen (or press option on iDrive when in cd/media screen) and you will see prompts for backing up the internal HDD.
