Is the iPhone 5 snap in media adapter available in US yet?

Last I spoke to a couple dealers, was told it's pushed off till September.

at this rate they should just start on the iPhone 6 adaptor and abandon the 5.

if the adapter for the 5 is a crappy as the one for the 4/4s, don't bother. It actually makes the phone overheat.
