Anyone order a car off Broadspeed?
Anyone order a car off Broadspeed? Or any other online broker?
Did it work out? According to their website I can get a new 535d (before options) for £39k or a 730d for £44k. Or I can go to the dark side with an Audi A8 Quattro for £41k. That's £17,000 off list price! Does it actually work out like it says on the tin? |

Yes I ordered my car from Broadspeed and the deal and service went very smoothly.
I'd also suggest going to your local or preferred dealer and putting the price to them and seeing if they would match it. You never know. |

I normally take the approach of getting a few internet quotes (from Broadspeed, Drivethedeal, What Car, etc...) and then haggling with the dealer to get a close enough price. I have bought 4 BMWs in the last 12 years and it has (more or less) worked each time. Reading your post, decided to check again. I built my exact car spec on Broadspeed and was pleasantly surprised to see that my final dealer price is £500 less than Broadspeed quote. My suggestion is to take the quote from Broadspeed to your dealer and ask them to match it. If your dealer does not match it; I can refer you to my dealer and help you strike a deal. PM me if you need any assistance...

Agreed with all of the above.
NB if you go with the Audi, drivethedeal are probably even cheaper. Have used them several times without problems. p.s. don't go with the Audi ! Unless you get the S8, which is stupidly fast and dripping with kit for just £57k after discount..... |

To answer your first question - "Does it actually work out like it says on the tin?" - simply - YES. I bought a car a few years ago this way and it was great, ended up being a dealer only 20 miles from my house.
I think Dealers have got wise to it though and have up'd their game accordingly (well some have ). I mentioned in a recent thread on here that my local dealer beat all the online companies by a considerable margin, so my advice would be (like gspannu ) do your research, then see what the dealers can do, you may be very surprised |

I bought May last car through broadspeed and everything was fine, I am now about to order a new F10 for March and have decided just to ring round various dealers to see who will offer the best quote, currently at 13% off list and aiming for 15%

I think 15% is a good target and you should be able to achieve that without too much pushing, with a little more persuasion, I'd say you should be able to hit high teens though
