I use BMW's leather cleaner which does a reasonable job. You need to do it regularly, especially if you wear jeans.

Gliptone is the only thing, really. The "wetwipe" type things are good for a quick wipe as jeans mark the oyster leather noticeably, but Gliptone brings it back to new. You need the cleaner and the conditioner and you can pick both up on eBay for about a score.

As Xenon days get gliptone; the cleaner's the best by miles and I've got Oyster leather. Conditioner I'm less fussy and use autoglym. Clean and condition every 6 months, use a soft nail brush to work into the stitching. Good luck!

Has Gliptone changed these days? When I last tried it I couldn't stand the smell, to put it bluntly it was scented like a public toilet, to my nose.

I'm not a big Gliptone fan if I'm honest. Take a look at the cleaners available from with LTT, Furtniture Clinic or my current favourite, Dr Leather. The Dr Leather come as leather wipes and do a great ob on removing jean die and dirt that has built up. They are also then easy to use on an ongoing basis to stop the dirt building up.

If jean dye is a big issue, then LTT do a jean dye removal kit which I've had good success with too.
