New F10 ECU software from Hartge
Just ordered an additional ECU, from Hartge, for my car.
490Hp, 720Nm They have just introduced a whole range of ECU´s for the whole BMW range of models! www.hartge.de

Well everybody ( almost ) can see it´s an M, but for the 550, it looks very similar to all the other 5´ers. I use the 550 every day, but the M3 is for track and sunday use.

Any dyno or vbox numbers? Thanks.
Beautiful set of cars you have. I dunno if the M3 just looks older to me now but your F10 drew my attention more |

Any transmission concerns putting that much power through? Also with the awd system?

I don´t think so. The gearbox is rated at 700 Nm.
I normally never do any launches from zero, just not to stress the drivetrain. And then there is the extra engine and transmission warranty that comes with the ECU.

Well, it took 4 hours at Hartge in Germany.
They say you can do it yourself. Instructions included.

Haha. If it took four hours at Hartge that would mean it would take about four days for me, and then I'd give up.
Where in Germany did you do the install? What's the closest to Sweden? |

I'll be going down for some winter tires anyway so might as well do it in Germany.
Will you be keeping the Hartge box on the care during servicing? I guess since Hartge cover the warranty that it should be safe to keep it on. Thanks for the help. |

I will keep it installed all the time. It is physically hidden inside the cars ECU box, so it can´t be seen unless you dismount the box. It can´t be seen on the onboard diagnosis and , as You said, I also have the engine and drivetrain warranty.
