Leaking oil, what is it?

I checked my car today. I found a small oil leak on a part next to the spark plugs. There is some oil resides in the concave of the part. See picture. What is it and how bad is it? The car CPO is ending by September. Is this covered by CPO? Car is 2011 535iX.

My guess would be valve cover gasket. CPO should cover leaks. My CPO covered the VCG repair...

Valvetronic gasket is leaking, fairly common. BMW PN 11377502022 $10 part and takes less time to change than it did to make this post.

It is an oil seal.

It's on a BMW.

replaced the Valvetronic gasket today.
