Enzo Preformance Custom dyno tune (Mainline Dyno)

I got a new tune this weekend from Enzo Preformance in Long Island Ny. Great shop!

The tune is Custome dynoed on their Mainline dyno. The ultimate heartbreaker dyno! The mainline Dyno is the lowest reading Dyno.
Mainline vs Mustang = 5% Lower
maineline vs Dyno jet = 12% Lower

IE: M5 F10 Dyno 480-490 on Enzo's

My car Dynoed 500AWHP on this Dyno. Yes 500!
we ran E85 at 70/30 and Gained another 25AWHP that out U.S. At 525.
I'm sure if we increased the mix we would get more power. If you equate the 12% that puts me at 570-580AWP on Dyno jet or 550AWHP on mustang Dyno.

I picked my car up this morning and went to Island dragway
Please note that I was having misfire issues after my last BMW service that I have to check out. My 5th gear was almost non existent which explains the low trap. I could easily done better in the trap mph . Car needs to get serviced my 5th gear was misfiring and just doing nothing!

Runs were done on 93 octane. After Dyno testing rave gas has very little to no effect on TU motor. E85 on the other hand does yield gains.

Your MPH is the same as before?

Time is good, looks like your 60ft is amazing. Not sure if a tune can give you that much greater 60ft lol.. but anyways 11.5 is crazy!!

Just weird MPH which is always a good measure of HP

Can you explain the 5th gear misfiring, and also post your Dyno graph with air fuel on the e85, I'm curious to see it.
That 60 foot is amazing for a boat, most purpose built cars would be jealous of that.

Also as far as race gas and e85, timing needs to be added to really see the benefit of either, and the factory computer needs time to adapt and feed timing back in that was previously removed by the knock sensors. If you have an aggressive tune, you will see a benefit from race gas as it will handle more timing, but if you have a conservative tune with lower timing, race gas will typically hurt your performance. E85 adds a great cooling factor, however the computer takes time to adapt to the different fuel ratios required so be careful you're not running extremely lean by going 70% e85 while its learning and feeding more fuel in to compensate.

P.s when my transfer case was broken I did 460/460 on dyno jet
When my transfer case was repaired the baseline for Gintani "same setup when transfer case broke was "465" on a Mainline dyno. Significant power loss. Mainline vs dyno jet is about 12% difference .

5th gear issue- it feels like a slipping clutch effect. No power it goes but very very slowly. If you see my 1/8th all is good until I hit 5th gear and car just slows down like hell. My trap should easily be low 120s.

The 2014+ ECu"s unlike the 2011-2013 auto adjust almost instantaneously to any changes. They adjust to any mods and or fuel difference. This was actually dyno tested and immediate results with no adjustment periods.
The 2014+ ECU"s are a different animal compared to the previous technology.

Also, waiting for the graphs to be emailed to me.

Also out of boredom since were guessing on numbers, comparisons and such, run a good trap and see what the calculator says According to what you ran now, it says 550 +/- flywheel horsepower, but of course thats based on 4300 lbs and the trap you actually ran. You picked up a fair amount of mph in the back half, so while you might screech a 120 out of it with optimal conditions, id say most of your super fast ET was the launch and tons of torque youre likely making with the tune and opening those turbos up early, as well as getting rid of all the BMW torque management we all have to deal with (those without a custom flash).
Congrats on the time!

http://www.dragtimes.com/horsepower-...calculator.php if you get bored... its about as accurate as comparing dyno numbers based on percentages less than other dynos without actually going on one, but its fun to run numbers anyway!

When I had the Jb I ran 11.7 at 119mph and my 1/8 MPH was only 93mph
With tune I ran 11.5 @ 118MpH and my 1/8 was ranging from 94-97mph.
It's when I shift into 5th at the end of the track where I pick up that additional trap is where my car shudders hard!!!
This all started to happen once BmW swapped my transfer case.
If my 5th gear was good I would easily without question be at 122.
P.s I ran 120 trap a few times at high 11s with shuddering .

Damn bro, that would suck if you need a new tranny.

I was hoping for a 124+MPH trap w/your hp numbers.

If your turbos can support the airflow, see if your shop will bump your boost and timing, and dial your AFR for straight E85 for a couple weeks. From what I recall, the factory BMW computer only has about 30% trim it can modify on the fuel curves, and E85 needs about 40% more than gasoline so to prevent leaning it out, it really needs to be dialed to a E85 AFR. On my Cobra I was able to add about 200 rear wheel horsepower switching to E85, but that was with a blower capable of pushing that much air as well... I don't know where the turbos max out on your engine.

Waste of time and $! All he is going to do is blow up his drive train for sure. Obviously he's at the limit now. Put your $'s towards a 2 yr old M5 and BMS and you'll be happy that you didn't blow so much time and $ into the 550. Just my 2C's.
