M-tech Quad diffuser - Need advice/help

Recently I purchased the Eisenmann quad exhaust for my 535i.

In the meantime, I've got an M-tech bumper on the way. Included with it is a 550 rear diffuser with the upside down "u" shaped cut outs (not the trapezoid) for the exhaust.

The width of the cut out will be too tight to fit the quad 90mm Eisenmann exhaust tips.

I'll either need to trim the diffuser exhaust tip openings on each side to fit the Eisenmann quad 90mm tips or purchase another diffuser instead.

I'm not particularly crazy about trimming the diffuser to fit.

I like the Schnitzer, Hamann and 3D design M-tech quad diffusers but I cannot find them in a non carbon fiber option. Lastly, I simply do not like the vorsteiner.

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

Thank you.

Get the diffuser you like in carbon and paint it. Some say it's a waste of money but do what you like. I was thinking of going this route too.

Yes, I thought about that. You are right, that is an expensive option. However, it looks like I've got no choice unless I trim the 550 diffuser to fit.

Do you know whether carbon fiber is paintable?

You can paint carbon. Are you sure its a 550 diffuser? The cutouts should be a more squared U with an angle going inward on the inside. Like the pic below, is this what you have? Suprised it does not fit

I bought the rear bumper from Trinity Auto Sports. As Joe described the diffuser, I got the impression they were upside down u-shaped ports. However, if they are like your picture I will be set and happy. I like your diffuser. Vorsteiner and others that are similar a too overbearing for my taste.

How far out do your tips extend beyond the top off the diffuser? About an inch?

If its a 550i diffuser its just like mine, thats what I have. The dual 90mm tips should fit just fine in that.

Mine stick out maybe an inch from the diffuser however with my exhaust I can adjust it in or out.

Thanks Juiced. Joe, from Trinity Auto Sports, referred to it as the 550i diffuser. So, as you said, I should be fine. Thank you for your pictures and feedback.
