Dude, I found just what you need!

I've seen these before, and I think this will make install WAY easier!

You cut a hole in the hoses, and clamp these assemblies on! Perfect fit, and only $14.99 each.

I would hold off on welding, and give these a shot. Here's the link:

Good work Black....

dvs - that location is after the intercoolers right before air enters the turbos.

Thats an incorrect airflow path. Air enters the turbo from the intake and is shot out from the spot you see to be cooled. The reason i asked is because ive worry about condensation build up in the intercoolers. But if terry is doing it if must be good 👍

Correct where i am putting the meth it's actually after turbos going to inter-coolers.

On other N5x series setups, meth is connected directly to the charge pipe.

The stainless steel v-band piece inside the rubber hose closest to the turbo flange is at least 1 inch long.

I would start by measuring the inside diameter of the v-band flange. Take that measurement to a reputable shop and have them make a 2 inch long section of stainless tubing of the same diameter, and weld a bung towards one end of that piece, have them make two of them.

So now you should have two pieces 2 inch long with bungs welded in each.

Unscrew the v-band flange clamp, remove the band.
Cut off the hose clamp holding the flange to the hose end.
Remove the v-band flange from the hose end.
Weld the fabricated pieces to the v-band flanges with the bung closest to the v-band end.
Cut the hoses to a shorter length to allow the assembly to line up.
Hose clamp the new pieces into each hose.

Attachment 1053023

Good thing about something simple like this is the piece can be loosened and rotated to the position you need. Something like this would work, just a thought.
It's not stainless steel ... It's aluminum... Now my whole meth install is delayed for at least 2 more days I might not make it to my event. We took it out and my guy that does the piping was like fuck.

That sucks dude. It looked like stainless to me, but I was just checking for how deep the flange went into the hose.

I guess the idea is the same, you just need two aluminum bungs and a short section of aluminum tubing with similar diameters. Is your guy set up to weld aluminum?

He don't have alluminum pipe that size so we are waiting for delivery. In the mean time I'm getting my meth kit installed and then piping and testing.

Basically for now we might have to hack the stock rubber pipe but I'm ordering custom silicone one to make it look clean.
