Seat calibration message

I recently got my car washed at a local place near by and they must have reset the seat calibration..I did what the instructions told me to do off the owners manual..I must have done it a dozen times and the message is still displaying on my navi..anyone ever have this problem

Make sure the car is in ACC mode(One push to the start button but dont start the car) and do the seat calibration and then shut the car off for a bit.

Usually works, hope it helps!

I'm assuming you gents are discussing the memory seat functions.

When toggling between memory setting 1 and 2. Do you have to keep the button deppressed or just a single press to get the proper seat position? I have to depress the whole time. Very annoying.

You have to depress it the entire time if the engine is running. This is a safety design as you do not want your knee to accidentally recall a memory seat/mirrors setting while you are driving with just a single push. Hence, BMW intentionally designed it so you have to consciously keep it depressed when the engine is on.

If the engine is off, you just need to single press the buttons to recall your seat/mirror settings.
