Air Filter for F10

Has anyone tried to match up the BMW E-90 DIESEL Engine Intake Cleaner or the K&N 335d Diesel Drop-In Air Filter to the filter in a 550 F10? 2011 on?

I need to measure it, but the 2 look identical for same shape.

Problem is there is a left and right filter on the 550i and they are side specific. I think the 335d is a single filter....

Good point. It has been my experience companies tend to recycle designs into cars instead of reinventing the wheel. Wonder if there is another model that would have the other side. For now, I am going to buy a set off of badblack.

Filters are there to stop anything that goes in, that's why they are called filters.

Had scoops on my e90 335i with a dci... even in heavy rain I never had an issue...
