TPMS recommendations? Siemens aftermarket TPMS issues on summer wheels
Guys,
Quick question, other than the very expensive OEM TPMS are there any aftermarket other manufacturers that you would recommend? I have a US car and apparently they are very finicky with the TPM. I recieved TPM malfunction several times and had to reset it. It appears to go away but then pops up again, very annoying...is OEM my only option? I hope there is something else as I really don't want to pay $600.00+ right now for them. What do you think? Thanks! |

@TeutonicDan , I notice that your car is 4 years old.
TPMS usually lasted about 4-5 years old. PM me the last 7 of your VIN and I will PM you which TPMS that you need. I do sell the OEM TPMS which is the same as what dealer sales but without BMW logo on it and the price is cheaper than the stealership price.

There are only 45,000 kms on my car so I'd be pretty surprised if the OEM ones were to go, plus it would be under warranty. I have PM'd you my last 7 of the VIN. Much Appreciated! |

I would stick with OEM. I've tried others that claim to be "as good or better than OEM" and it never is. You can get a set of 4 for less than $600.
It's $68 a piece here. http://www.bmwoffairfax.com/order-parts-online.htm |

@TeutonicDan , I replied to you.
What I carry is the OEM TPMS made by Beru/Huff who has contract with BMW. So, the set I sell are direct from the manufacturer, not some generic brand.

It is OEM parts. BMWOFFAIRFAX is a huge dealership in one of the top 5 richest county of the country. They sell everything cheaper. They don't use generic stuff, everything is from BMW.
