A 12oz Guinness is 126 calories. That's quite low in the beer world. A Dogfish Head 120min is right around 500 calories.

Of course 120 Min is also near 20% ABV, so just from a volumetric efficiency standpoint, one 120 Minute is going to work out better for you than four Guinnii.

If you're counting calories, then drinking beer is not the right thing to be drinking. And if I want to go into the 20%+ abv, I'll switch to hard liquor. For that, my killer is red bull vodka's. My friend got me into drinking those back in college and it is a common pre-game drink now.

What I was saying about Guinness is that usually the darker the beer is, the easier it is to "fill up" while drinking it. Most ppl will drink Guinness and start feeling full from drinking it.

Trust me, I've done that math maaaaany times. Problem is, I can only drink 2 of them before feeling like I just consumed 8 Bud heavies. Those things sit like a fucking stone... a delicious, delicious stone.

I only drink beer on special occasions. I'm a vodka guy but it's hard to get yard work done after 2 vodka drinks - or work on the car for that matter. Beer is for daylight projects.

Yeah, I laid down a case of it a few years ago, with a mind of aging it for a while. Somehow it all disappeared, two bottles at a time.

I'm a fan of dark beers. Guinness is one of my go-to beers. But I also enjoy Left Hand Milk Stout and one other from that company that I had recently - I think it was the Black Jack Porter.

Haha, I know what you mean. I did the same thing but with tequila. I don't remember the exact number of shots, but between 4 ppl we killed a handle of tequila, me and another person killed a bottle of jaeger while also killing a 12 pack, then we went to the bar and I had two Heinikens, then a 4 horseman shot and then I blacked out..... The stories I heard the next day.... I ended up falling out of the car when we got home and laying on the ground saying "I'm good to go" while throwing sparring punches from the ground. All that while a friend was locked in the trunk (he needed a ride so I had the idea of throwing him in the trunk supposedly). And no I didn't drive. The good old college days.

Then on my birthday my friends thought it would be funny to buy me nothing but tequila shots..... I gagged each time.

Depends on my mood and what kind of beer I am feeling. I am usually big on Belgian style ales.

1. DogFishHead 120 Minute (18%)
2. Delirium Tremens (8.5%)
3. Hoegaarden (4.9%)
4. Affligem Blond (6.7%)
5. DogFishHead Black & Blue (10%)

Just to name a few of my favorites

The rarities are micro brewed by people who are passionate about their craft. Corona is the Toyota Corolla of beers while some of the harder to find stuff that we're mentioning is more akin to your M3. It's all about personal preference, but as a home brewer, I have a great deal of respect for the work that goes into creating these complex beers.

Things must be slow in ND. Maybe next he'll bring up all the threads on this place about BMW's and tell us to stop that too.

For someone that wants this thread to stop, you're sure doing a good job of keeping it alive. Do you own a wood chipper?
