This is a poseur car. Sure it looks good but the complete lack of integrity is not attractive.

FYI there's no M5 badges on it.

At a first glance without looking at the side vents with just the F10 M5 bumper the car looks great! As soon as I saw the side vents and rear quad pipes the first thing that came to mind was poser. I've seen this type of mod on non E60 M5 and frankly I don't know why people do this. I'd compared this to a Fiero with a Lamborghini kit on.

Aside from the vents and quad pipes the car with just the bumper looks great though!

You can't compare this to a Fiero with a Lambo kit, why? because those fit like crap and plus it is out of place. This in the other hand is factory perfect fitment and I must say, it is in all the right places.

LAcster you attention whore, make your own M5 replica page.

I am curious, where can we draw the line to be considered a poser? Older BMWs installing angel eyes that only comes from higher end or later model? Installing CSL style trunk lids? Putting M style wheels on? Ppl buying and driving a M just for the look/style and never come close to driving a M supposed to be driven?

Personally I think the gray area is whether the mod is for the style or completely trying to impersonate and intent to fool others.

From meeting IE92/Evans in RL, rest of the F10 modders and myself never once got the impression that he was trying to fake it. If he puts on M5 style wheels or any M5 badges.. yea IMO that would definitely cross the gray area.

Personally I just thought that was a very cool mod, definitely the most standout mod any of us F10 modders have seen so far.

car looks great, its funny people hating on you evan cause its a 528i, W.G.A.F! i believe the 5 series is not truly a race driven car, more of a luxury car with some sportness to it....if he wanted a 500 hp car he could of got the cadillac cts-v for just alittle more but he chose the bmw 5-series......good choice evan and great mods.... keep up the great work....

Did the original under engine tray fit the M5 bumper or you had to use the M5 one?

Well said. As long as there's no M5 badging on it I don't see this as posing. Look at the E46 crowd... 90% of the guys slap on the M3 bumper with a lip.

As for the quad exhaust.... F10 members here technically had it before the F10 M5 was even revealed so...

I'm not comparing fitment just the idea of lambo kit on a fiero I'm sure it fits like crap. Similar here F10 M5 body in a 528 get the point?

From this thread I've learned who all the people who stick M badges on their 328/528s are.

Remember when people were actually enthusiasts rather than poseurs and cared about things other than the appearance of their car? Like, oh I don't know, performance?
but its blacked out

I don't get whats the big deal about this. Are the M5 owner mad because they paid $100k+ for their car when Evan paid half the cost to achieve the look?

We all are here because we love BMW and we fix them up to individualize our self. If you guys are butt hurt about it, go get an Enzo. No one have a copy of that car.

I just cant understand, what is the problem here? Car is however bmw f10 and there is parts available like M-sport or M5... So if I have (like i have) standard f10, I canīt but even M-sport front because it is not even M-sport. So no-one get trick that i have original M-sport... or even M5... Grazy....

They who have the problem, seems to drive old e60 or civic.... I know, it must be hard, but life is...

Anyway, the car looks awesome and because it cause so much feelings in people I must order the M5 kit also...

I'm wondering if any horsepower was lost w/ the quad setup? I know that on E60 when you do the quad setup you actually loose horsepower because of exhaust system back pressure. Is this also the case on F10?
